Professional Career
Before joining Leadership Pipeline Institute, Anders Ibsen was Head of Learning and Development in Nordea, a leading Bank in Europe with 33,000 employees. Previously to this role, Anders was Head of HR development and Global HR business partner in Nordea.
In Nordea, Anders lead the implementation of a companywide integrated leadership development initiative based on the Leadership Pipeline concept to impact more than 4,000 leaders in more than 15 countries. The project delivered a significant improvement in leadership behavior which was recognized in the annual employee surveys and resulted in behavioral improvement scores more than 50% better than global benchmarks.
Over the past almost ten years, Anders has built a unique insight on how to design educational and developmental initiatives that are applicable to cultures across the world. He has lead the implementation of the leadership pipeline concept with regards to development, selection, and assessment in 15 different large international organizations and a vast number of small and mid-sized companies.
Before joining Nordea, Anders made a career in the Danish military. The laste five years as part of the special forces, where he lead and coordinated long-range reconnaissance patrolling units under extreme nature conditions in Northeast Greenland.
Today, Anders is also a returning lecture at the One MBA and Executive MBA on Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University).
